My name is Vanessa I am relatively new to the floral industry, having worked for an animal charity for over 20 years. I have found a love for flowers and a creativity that combines nature, the outdoors and my love of art though floral design. After studying floristry at college, I felt a mindfulness which took me to a place of happiness and beyond. The principles and elements of floral design, colour theory and learning about the industry gave me the inspiration to pursue my new business "Mud Flowers".
I often get asked, where does the name Mud come from? well, flowers grow in Mud (soil) and I have spent many years working with dogs with muddy paws! The perfect combination, two of my life's passions developed into Mud Flowers.
Vanessa has known my Mum and us for many years through Guide dogs but when Mum passed away suddenly we couldn't have asked for the most beautiful floral tribute for our beloved Mum. She did an amazing job for not only us but her friend...all her favourites and not to mention the outstanding Guide dog puppy and logo for my mum's beloved career.
